workshops & Conversations

I offer grounded, steady conversations about the realities couples and families face, especially during times of stress and transition.

My goal in speaking is to normalize what feels overwhelming, put language to what often goes unnamed, and offer practical tools people can use immediately, without pressure to “get it right.”

Conversations I lead

  • A grounded conversation about the invisible emotional load professionals in high-stress careers bring into their relationships, and how partners can move towards understanding rather than escalation.

  • In the military, law enforcement, and other high-stress cultures, emotional control is often equated with strength. Over time, the armor we wear to protect us in crisis can begin to narrow our emotional range and increase isolation. This conversation reframes vulnerability as a strength. Necessary to remain emotionally grounded, connected with others, and show up authentically in life without sacrificing resilience or competence.

  • This is an honest conversation about how, during pregnancy and early parenthood, two people can deeply care for one another and still feel alone in the same relationship. This conversation helps couples understand the emotional realities beneath conflict, while offering one practical tool couples can begin using immediately.

  • When someone we love is struggling, our instinct is often to solve the problem. But moving too quickly to solutions can unintentionally create distance, especially in close relationships. This conversation explores how empathy, timing, and emotional validation reduce defensiveness and strengthen connection before problem-solving begins.

If your audience would benefit from a conversation that normalizes the hard parts of being human and offers tools to navigate them, I’d be happy to collaborate. We can shape the conversation to fit your event and the people in the room.
